Gambling Addiction - Glasgow Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy in Glasgow for Gambling Addiction

The NHS estimated that as many as 450,000 people in the UK are addicted to gambling, spending a combined total of £7 billion every year. This is only an estimate and the figure could potentially be far higher.  It seems these days that everywhere you look there are adverts for gambling and it is becoming much more accessible than ever.  I don't think I can remember watching TV and not seeing an advert for some kind of gambling, from online casinos to bingo.  Pictures of slot machines, roulette wheels  or celebrities advertising bingo etc.

There are a variety of treatment options available for those who have a gambling addiction, and hypnotherapy is becoming an increasingly popular tool.  Hypnotherapy looks at tackling both the addiction itself and any underlying problems that may have triggered the addiction (such as trauma, stress, lack of self-confidence or depression), which can help to understand and address the underlying issue, therefore removing the need to gamble.  Hypnotherapy is not a magic wand and I can't make you stop gambling, you have to want to stop in the first place.  However, when people come along to see me in Glasgow regarding gambling it is when they have recognised that there is a problem and that they want to do something about it.  That recognition is a huge first step to taking control of your life.

If you are interested in coming to my office in Glasgow to see if hypnotherapy could help you with gambling then please get in touch.  Your initial consultation is free and there is no obligation to undertake hypnotherapy after your consultation if you feel it's not right for you.  During your consultation you'll be able to ask any other questions that you have and it will allow me to build a bigger picture and tailor the session to your requirements.

On your first hypnotherapy session you will be given positive suggestions and tools to use to help you going forward.  Because you are in an altered state of awareness during hypnosis, these positive suggestions can be more readily taken on board by your subconscious.   On any follow up session we will also investigate if there are any other underlying issues which may require to be resolved.
